Education Day at the DREF for homeschooling anglophones interested in French learning materials.

The DREF (Direction des ressources éducatives françaises/French Educational Resources Branch)is located at the the University of St-Boniface, S208 – 200 avenue de la Cathédrale.

Parking for DREF is available in the parking lot of the University of St-Boniface (numbers 65 to 70; register at circulation desk (Room 0140) of the DREF upon arrival) or on the surrounding streets.

This tour day is especially for English speaking families interested in seeing what French resources are available to them through the library to enhance their homeschooling experiences. Parents can bring their children but they should be monitored at all times as there is no formal childcare.

This evening is a parents’ night out; only nursing babies welcomed.

The evening will start off with a meet and greet. Then there will be an introduction to the topic of socialization and socializing in homeschooling followed by a group discussion.

To end the evening there will be a time to share a NUT-FREE pot-luck snack and enjoy talking with each other and asking questions.
