Artists Emporium – Seeking Ideas and People for Daytime Classes

Weekend Classes and Workshops don’t fit into your schedule?

Exciting news! We are planning more workshops!  We would love to hold more during weekdays and / or evening classes if enough people are interested.

We are trying to gauge interest in weekdays and evenings workshops. Are you interested in weekday or evening classes covering silk dyeing, silk painting, alcohol ink and more?  We are looking at dates in late October and early November.

If interested, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can create these learning opportunities and make them available to you!  Or if you are interested in holding a workshop of your own at our store, please let us know.  Contact [email protected] for more info.

For our other workshops, sign up in-store, over the phone, or click the link below to sign up online today!

Canadian Mennonite University – Visit Campus Days

October 16th (General), 23rd (General), and November 6th (Outtatown program) are CMU’s next Campus Visit Days.

Students will have opportunity to discover CMU by touring the campus, meeting professors, finding out about extracurricular activities and more.  They can see the schedule for the day and register on our Campus Visit Day webpage.  Please note that there are special interest days later on as well (which can be attended by all interests): November 20 Music, November 27 Science, December 2 Outtatown.

We have four student ambassadors assisting with recruitment this year. They introduce themselves here on their blog “From The Halls”.  Read Ayla’s account of how visiting campus can change your mind about a school.  For stories of life around campus, visit our CMU Blog

Take note of our first deadline! If students  Apply Online or Apply Outtatown Online before November 30th CMU will waive the  application fee!

IF you have not received your CMU GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR Package in the mail, please let me know so I can resend you another one with our brand new viewbook (totally redesigned!), the guidance counsellor poster (admission requirements and financial aid), etc.

Finally, make sure to mark in your calendars a few upcoming stellar musical events:

Sunday October 25 Bachtoberfest – spend an evening in a Leipzig atmosphere

Saturday Nov 28th is Christmas At CMU – we transform the entire North Campus into one big concert hall!
