Month: February 2016
As the holiday break approaches, please let your homeschooled contacts know about Canadian Mennonite University’s scholarships. The holidays are an opportune time to discover all the awards CMU has to offer. Please note the deadline for applications is February 29, 2016.
Our awards include leadership scholarship, music merit award, business merit award, Outtatown leadership scholarship, and academic merit award. Most require an essay and nomination letters. Scholarship money ranges from $4000 over four years to $14,000 over four years.
In order to apply for scholarships, students need to first apply to CMU: Apply Online or Apply Outtatown Online .
Come and discover what CMU programs and community have to offer by attending a Campus Visit Day.
February 5| Year One
March 11| Year One & Music
February 12 and March 18 | Outtatown program
Take a campus tour, visit the dorms, meet professors, attend class, and participate in a community gathering (i.e. chapel). We’ll provide lunch in the dining hall and conclude the day with free gelato at folio cafe! Read about one student’s CMU Campus Visit Day experience here. Parents are also welcome; we know they have questions too, so we have included an information session just for them.
We meet at CMU’s north campus (500 Shaftesbury Blvd, the castle-like building) at 8:45 AM and wrap up around 3:00 PM. Also, if students are travelling over 100km to attend a campus visit day, we want to give them up to $400 for their flight ticket or mileage!
Register at Campus Visit Days or simply drop in at 8:45 AM. Either way, hope to see some of your students here!
Feel free to contact our Enrolment Department anytime with any questions you may have by emailing me at [email protected], or through our Guidance Counsellor webpage, or by calling 1-877-231-4570.
