It is a bit tricky getting there, please see the map.
DIRECTIONS: It is a bit tricky getting there, please see the map attached. Best way to get there is to turn on to Sir John Franklin Rd at Corydon Animal Hospital off of Corydon Ave. The back lane entrance is a bit more tricky. Please park near to the baseball field to free up the parking lot next to the playground for people that would like to play basketball.
MEET US next to play structure, washroom and wading pool. We will have a sign up table setup there. The community center is NOT for MASH, but individuals can use the restrooms. Starting in July, we will be able to use the wading pool restrooms. We have only reserved the baseball and soccer fields. The rest of the park is to be shared with the public.
BRING for yourself a water, lunch, chairs, sports equipment, etc.
BRING lawn games, sport equipment, a snack, etc. to SHARE.
PAYMENT is $20 per child for the WHOLE summer. All children the ages 3 and under will be free. Of the fee, $13.55 will be paid to city for reserving the fields and the rest will be used by MASH for the purchasing of group equipment, first aid, and anything else we will need to host this event. Payments are needed by May 30th to be paid in cash or etransfer to Tiffany Twudosichuk ([email protected]).
VOLUNTEERS are need to help facilitate baseball, soccer, playground and the general meet-up. Most of us will not make it every week. The more people we have that can facilitate, we the more overlap we can have to make sure the event is a success.
