Mennonite Heritage Village
Dear Homeschool Teachers:
Mennonite Heritage Village offers interactive and memorable field trip experiences for children Grades K-6 and guided or self-guided tours for Grades 7 and up. Our school programming takes you right into our heritage homes and buildings to introduce you to the interesting lives of the Mennonite people from the 19th century to present day. Whether studying Mennonite immigration history of a local community, or as the history of the diverse communities of Canada, a field trip to this museum vividly brings to life these abstract concepts.
You and your students will step back to a different way of life and enjoy a unique day away from the classroom. These adventures in education have been popular with students, teachers and parents for many years due to their interactive nature and the capacity to enrich their learning opportunities.

Break for lunch at our Livery Barn Restaurant or bring a picnic lunch (outside tables provided). A school programs lunch menu is available for the Livery Barn Restaurant. If you wish to order lunch, please request an order form.
